1950’s Classic Butchers Bike Restoration

A Beautiful circa 1950’s Butchers Bike came into me in early January 2026 requiring a complete overhaul. First came the full strip down of the bike to bare nuts and bolts.

Then came the shotblasting to reveal the excellent condition of the frame under the original thick paint.

Next was a trip to the paint shop where a high shine black gloss was applied.

During this time a lot of wire wool and time later restored much of the lost chrome features and removed huge quantities of rust.

Finally the reassembly of all parts into a finished buthcers bike set for the next 60-70 years.
